Bookkeeper - Office Administrator  :: Full Time Job Opportunity

We're Reseller of software document automation solutions for mid to large size companies. We're seeking an organized & experienced person to manage our front office activities including bookkeeping, telephone and administrative  functions.  You must have a minimum of 2 years experience for this full time position.  Training on our systems will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal person for this job should be organized, accurate and self-motivated.  Your communication skils should be very good as you'll also be answering inbound customer phone calls. 

  • Using our Windows based Sage Accpac ERP system, you'll maintain the AR, AP, Order Entry, Quoting, Inventory and GL
  • You'll manage bank deposits, perform regular bank reconciliations and month and year end closing.
  • Generate payroll and commissions twice monthly
  • Answer and transfer incoming phone calls internally
  • Document filing
  • Work with our internal SalesLogix CRM customer relationship management database.
  • Manage the renewal process of our client support contracts
  • Communicate with our suppliers on a regular basis
  • Receive and ship inventory (minimal), manage couriers, order office supplies etc.
  • Assist the president administratively

You'll Possess:

  • 2 years (minimum) experience performing Payroll, AR, AP, PO writing, Order Entry, Invoicing, Inventory and GL functions (preferrably but not required) in Accpac ERP 5.0 automated accounting system.
  • Excellent communication (fluent English), writing and interpersonal skills
  • Reconcile US & Canadian dollar conversion in purchases
  • Performed bank reconciliation’s, trial balances, month end and year closing.
  • Record cash disbursements, receipts and expenses.
  • You're proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, Access,  Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer.
  • Capable of working with a minimum of supervision.
  • You’re capable of working in a fast paced, high-energy casual office environment.
  • A talent for listening, a take charge attitude, and like undertaking new responsibilities
  • Car is not required but would be an asset.
  • This is a challenging position, where you will have opportunity to show your ample skills and desire to control projects.
