Business Development Job Opportunity
We're a reseller of document automation solutions for mid to large size
companies in Canada and the US. We're seeking an
organized & experienced Sales
Account Manager
to take over existing accounts and prospect to new business.
You'll perform business analysis, conduct solution demos and manage the
client purchasing process from quoting, contracts to close. We'll provide
some leads that you'll qualify, and prospect
accounts in our CRM system. You'll schedule online & in person
meetings and demo's, send quotes / proposals and service your customer throughout the
closing process.

Key Responsibilities
You'll recommend system architectures and best practices within the
scope of our services and products that you sell. Product training is
provided.
- Sell document automation solution software licenses, scanners
and our professional services.
- Host sales presentations in person, seminars & webinars.
- Campaign follow-up calls and onsite visits
- Perform initial business discovery analysis on behalf of your
clients.
- Generate estimates, quotes and proposals using existing template
documents
- Track your sales activities and prospect status in our CRM system
Opportunity
- You'll make cold calls, some vendor
leads are provided, and leads generated from
Connectis online webinars and email advertising.
- You'll take over an existing account base, to sell deeper &
wider.
- Once you're trained & have experience, you'll have complete account
control.
- You'll sell well branded products & services that businesses
need. The solutions can be provided both on client site or
hosted (Cloud - SaaS).
- No cap on earnings with draw against commission or you can
choose salary plus commission. Car & cell phone
allowance is provided.
- We'll provide a laptop and demo systems.
- Work with an experienced team of and a well thought out
project methodology to assist your sales effort.
Skills & Abilities:
- You're effective at listening and probing your customers.
- 3 years experience (minimum) selling products or services to
medium and large sized businesses.
- Experience in IT, IT consulting, or other relevant field is
desirable as a technical literacy
and the ability to translate our solutions into business benefits is
important.
- Experience with RightFax, TeleForm, Autonomy Process Automation
is a strong asset - although training will be provided.
- Must be profit motivated, a self-starter and well organized.
- The ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in
person
- As a closer with a proven successful track record you'll
have a compensation plan where you can earn significant commissions.
- You're an expert at using the phone to schedule meeting appointments with C-Level
decision makers by conveying our value proposition.
- You recognize that on-going training is key to success in this
position.
- Most business activities are expected to be within the GTA, so
you'll need a reliable car to meet with your clients.
Limited to no travel is expected.
- Strong working experience with Microsoft Office applications.
