DESCRIPTIONS |
| Invoice Capture |
|
Automated the receipt of inbound invoices,
captured the field content, thereby reducing data entry. The
invoice is scanned to an image and the information is
automatically read off the invoices, the data and images are
stored electronically for eventual retrieval over the LAN or
WAN.

| PO Delivery |
|
We enabled our client to deliver formatted PO's generated
out of PeopleSoft to intended recipients without manual
intervention. The ERP system regularly generated a data stream
that was automatically picked up, formatted, with defined
document length and overlaid data on top of a template of the
companies Purchase Order document. The data stream included
instructions on who the document should be sent to and via what
means including fax, laser printing or email. Once the document
was sent out, a notification was sent back to the host system of
the transmission. No manual intervention was required after the
initial setup.

| Fax Server
Consolidations |
|
Working with some of our large clients with many fax
servers, they have needed to de-commission servers in some of
the many locations that are have been under utilized.
Strategies had to be defined to implement new servers with ample
production capabilities to address the total volume of inbound &
outbound traffic required by the various locations that were
previously served by a local fax server.
|
| Shared Services
Faxing |
|
Implementing a multi server fax architecture a degree of
high availability is common for large volume users that want to
reduce the impact of a catastrophe. We've implemented 2 or more
production fax servers that share a single Microsoft SQL
database. Each of the production fax servers have a remote fax
board server implemented to isolate the fax cards from the
actual fax server production machine to reduce the potential
threats. This 5 server solution enables central management of
all services, fax channels, licenses, reporting and load, while
distributing the risk over 2 or more sites.

Student Survey Capture |
|
One client needed to survey a population of high school
students to determine their habits and attitudes in regards to
personal activities and health. Although this client did know
what questions to ask on the form, they didn't want the clerical
burden of managing to manually reading each form and manually
recording the student responses into a database as the time
component would be unbearable. Our solution was to take the
clients survey questions and implement them into an automated
capture system that would recognize the hand printing and marked
choice bubbles completed by each student. After the paper form
scanning, form recognition and correction process were completed
a resulting database was exported with all the captured results
for our client to analyze.

| Order Entry
Capture |
|
A manufacturer client of ours relies on receiving daily
sales orders from many retail stores across the country. These
orders have traditionally taken too long for Order Entry staff
to manually key in the orders and the process was prone to human
error on the data entry process. There was also too much time,
and fax machine toner lost while received orders were printed by
desktop fax machines. The solution was to automate the receipt
of all the orders through many fax lines to - once received -
move the now digital images of the orders over to a data and
form capture system that has been configured to accurately read
all the manual printed orders with a minimum of hum
intervention.

| Disaster
Recovery High Availability |
|
Clients have required a high degree of system availability
and have a zero tolerance for manual intervention to manage a
failed server over to a backup server. In other words, the
system just can't go down and if it does our users can't be
interrupted. Our solution enables full protection for
application servers paired with a licensed redundant server that
has a 2nd NIC incorporated with heartbeat technology that
monitors the state of the production application servers and in
the event of a production machine failure a seamless and
automatic (no manual intervention required by Administrators or
End Users) fail over to the redundant twinned server will
occur. Once the production server has been repaired, the
procedure is reversed, again without any loss of data or
interruption of service.
