Send fax from EPIC EHR
Great news for healthcare organizations using Epic cloud-based EHR solution. Now RightFax 20.2 supports a new Epic certified API-based connector which can enable you to send faxes directly from Epic through the Epic Print Services. It’ll accelerate secure patient information exchange and enhance the productivity of care providers. This means that you can track your fax delivery (containing patient information) within Epic and Epic My Printouts. It also enables you to build and maintain workflows by routing inbound faxes to network folders and exchange faxed documents within Epic systems. To use this feature, the Integration Module must be licensed.
Send faxes in as few as two clicks! The new and simplified user interface is so easy-to-use that a new user does not require any learning, documentation, or support. It speeds up the process of sending faxes as there is a reduced effort in creating, tracking, and managing fax documents. The new features like preview pane, drag-and-drop attachments in FaxUtil Web and ‘dark mode’ option to improve visibility for users with low vision and those who are sensitive to bright light, take the UX of the latest package to the next level.

Better control on the distribution of incoming RightFax email traffic
Two new features of RightFax 20.2: Email Gateway Scheduling and Group-based Email Gateway Assignments, will help you regulate email traffic across your organization’s network while ensuring deliverability, maintaining network performance, and minimizing user request response time.
The Email Gateway Scheduler is a typical scheduler that enables you to send faxes at a specific time or in hourly intervals. But it makes your life easier when dealing with large volumes of traffic as you can schedule the bulk faxes after the business hours, thus ensuring maximum channel availability during normal business hours.
Group-based email gateways help organizations control the flow of fax information through email servers.
For more control over your fax-based email traffic, the Group-based Email Gateway Assignments feature lets you assign email gateways to specific user groups to prevent email server spikes and ensure the performance and reliability of email server resources.
Seamless Integration with MS Outlook
The RightFax integration with Outlook has got a face-lift! Microsoft Outlook is the gold standard for businesses. OpenText has simplified the fax user experience by creating a RightFax UX with the look and feel of Outlook. These features of integration and User Experience will reduce the burden on your IT team and the end-users.

This change serves a simpler way to the businesses to manage RightFax enabled MFPs, XML Generator, and Vault connections. There is also a new Post Fax Processing area within user Group settings.
